In order to introduce a new fertilizer product names Haracoat in Indonesia, so since beginning of March until now, PT Sumber Agrindo Sejahtera (PT SAS) has held product launching road shows in five cities in Indonesia, namely:

• Month of March 2012 – Jakarta
• Month of April 2012 – Jambi, Sumatera
• Month of June 2012 – Sampit, East Kalimantan
• Month of June 2012 – Palembang, South Sumatera
• Month of July 2012 – Pontianak, West Kalimantan

Haracoat launching road show will be held at three cities, namely:

• Month of September 2012 – Samarinda, East Kalimantan
• Month of October 2012 – Medan, North Sumatera
• Month of October 2012 – Pekanbaru, Sumatera

The purpose of the road shows is to introduce our Haracoat Fertilizer, the new generation fertilizer. With the introduction of our Haracoat fertilizer, PT Sumber Agrindo Sejahtera has the confidence, that Haracoat fertilizers will be able to enliven the market of compound fertilizer (NPK) and single fertilizer in Indonesia.

Haracoat derived from the word "Hara" which means the nutrients, and "Coat" which means coating. Haracoat can be interpreted as sulfur-coated nutrient fertilizer. The main advantages of Haracoat as compound fertilizer (NPK) is it has been coated with sulfur which controlled nutrient to release slowly so the nutrients are always available when the Palms need it. Haracoat MX is the blended NPK fertilizer where an element N is the Urea Granule which has been coated with sulfur, an element of P using the MAP Granule and K using KCL Granule. This Haracoat MX is a pure single granule fertilizer that has been blended into one so that the release of nutrients can be controlled.

The use of the coating technology in fertilizers has been used in the older days when the fertilizers was first introduced it creates the market. But because the coating is using resin coating and still import so into high cost and less competitive in the market.  Haracoat is using sulfur materials for the coating. Because, sulfur has much cheaper cost, and moreover element sulfur is also needed by plants.

Benefits of Haracoat SCU (Sulfur Coated Urea) fertilizer with a controlled release nutrients is to provide high efficiency and high resistant to water that can reduced up to 40% of urea usage in normal application.
